Briana Mauldin-Looby MS, LPC, ADHD-CCSP
An Oklahoman, Briana Mauldin-Looby attended Southern Nazarene University, where she graduated, Psi Chi, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree with Honors in Psychology. Desiring to explore and learn more in the field, she chose to begin training at MidAmerica Christian University. During her internship she worked as a psychotherapist under supervision at St. Anthony’s Behavioral outpatient program and MidAmerica's Counseling program for students. She graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling with a clinical emphasis. After graduation, Briana was working as a psychotherapist and was trained in giving mental health assessments at an agency in Oklahoma. She also received her certification as an ADHD certified clinical service provider. Briana made the Power List of Education in The Journal Record in 2024.
After finishing her schooling and training as a psychotherapist, she learned she had ADHD herself. Since discovering her own diagnosis after struggling through years of living with a disorder unbeknown to her, it has become her personal and professional mission to help others learn to recognize and manage the lifelong condition. Her unique treatment approach incorporates innovative and collaborative assessments, while combining her expertise in psychotherapy, and wellness practices. As Director and Owner of AAO, our mission is to empower wellness by assessing, educating, and giving our clients results they can trust. Briana Mauldin-Looby lives in Oklahoma City with her three children. She is diligent in incorporating wellness into her everyday life. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, dancing, music, painting, and great food. She is passionate about lifelong learning and dedicates herself to cultivating the well-being of others to make the world a better place for her clients. It is gratifying for her to see the direct positive impact of assessing clients, getting them results, and referring them treatment to improve a client’s quality of life.
